Our team

Nader Gendy is our Senior Professional Engineer and Owner. He has over 20 years engineering experience in Kamloops, Surrey, Burnaby, Edmonton, and Egypt. He has a degree in Civil Engineering and is registered as a professional engineer with EGBC. He enjoys working in the construction industry as a field geotechnical engineer. He performs onsite inspections and in-office designs and planning. He supervises the daily operations of crews and contractors, and has trained and supervised newly hired engineers and technicians. He started BC Foundation Specialties in 2015 and has helped over 200 homeowners repair their failed foundations. He loves to think outside the box for engineering and construction solutions. In his down time he likes to play soccer, hang out with family and friends, and enjoys eating a variety of ethnic foods.

Nicole Gendy is Owner and Office Manager for BC Foundation Specialties. She makes sure that things are flowing in the office. She has more than 20 years of experience in keeping people on track and managing cash flow from many diverse jobs. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband, three kiddos, extended family and friends. She loves creating, especially quilting and painting.

Wagner Cardozo is the Project Manager for BC Foundations. He has been part of the BCF family since it’s inception. His job includes business developments, cost estimates, and marketing. He was even the creator of our logo! In his spare time he likes to spend time with family and friends. He loves camping, outdoor activities and cooking.

Scott Harris is the Operations Manager for BC Foundations. With over 25 years experience in the construction industry he’s had many opportunities to learn and apply all aspects of construction and project management. As a journeyman carpenter, he’s experienced in everything from foundations to finishing carpentry, such as framing, landscaping, machine operation, cabinetry and fine finishing. He enjoys the outdoors in his down time by hiking, fishing, golfing and skiing.

Levi Uppenborn is a Field Technician who has worked for BC Foundations for almost two years. He operates machinery for piles installation and earthworks, welds, and does general labour. He is a dedicated employee and is trustworthy. In his spare time he likes playing video games and skiing, and he was a member of the Sea Cadet Corp in Kamloops for a number of years.

Kage Leader is BCF’s Leadhand and Field Technician. He helps to ensure that things run smoothly on site by staying organized and keeping everyone safe. Some of his tasks are machine operator (excavator/skidsteer), welding, forming concrete, and carpentry building. He is satisfied when your home is properly fixed and cleaned up to the same level or better as when he started. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and family. He travels frequently to Clearwater and Wells Gray Park. Some of his hobbies include camping, fishing, dirt biking and snowboarding.

Nermin Mousa brings five years of Accounting experience from Egypt, complemented by an additional three years in bookkeeping in Canada. She is eager to apply her expertise to BC Foundations.

Beyond her professional achievements, Nermin enjoys swimming and singing, both of which contribute to her overall well-being and work-life balance. We are excited to welcome her valuable skills to our team.

We are excited to have Rowan join our team. She completed her studies in civil engineering at Alexandria University in 2020, and she’s now looking forward to enhancing her knowledge in structural design and drafting. Rowan is particularly interested in the hands-on aspects of building infrastructure and loves to tackle new challenges. Her creative outlook and enthusiasm are great additions to our structural engineering team.

Rowan is not just passionate about engineering; she has a keen eye for detail, enjoys drawing, and is committed to learning new languages. Outside of work, she stays active with sports, practices her art, and broadens her language skills
